

Utah State Parks and B.L.M. Recreation Areas offer camping and recreational opportunities for modest daily fees. These are well developed and maintained sites with campground hosts or periodic visitation by rangers and staff.

| Price Canyon Recreation Area just off of U.S. 6 in Price Canyon north of Helper offers camping, picnicking and nature trails. Scofield State Park at Scofield reservoir offers camping, boating, fishing and snowmobiling and ice fishing in winter. Huntington State Park just north of Huntington offers boating, swimming, fishing camping and picnic facilities. Millsite State Park east of Ferron has golf, boating, pavilions, camping and picnicking. Green River State Park in Green River has camping, showers, boat launching, golf, picnicking, and an amphitheater. Goblin Valley State Park in the San Rafael Swell has picnicking, camping and a shelter facility. |

Most of these facilities are at lower elevations, have extended use seasons, and are well developed with a variety of amenities for day use, RV's and tent campers.
